Any 1/4 mile times for the 6 speed manual?

I see most reviews are autos. How much shower in the 1/4 is the manual transmissions? I recall the ttrs had more than .5 sec faster.

Am thinking about trading my cla 45 for a 2015 m3 since auto get boring to drive for me.

Is the DCT in your 45 really as bad as reviews state?

Btw, the M3 does 12 flat w/DCT, haven't seen 6MT yet. I'd imagine a tick or two slower but who knows?

It's lighting fast compared to automatics but there is a half second delay when pressing and computer responding to shifts. My old 2013 GTR does that as well but the computer preload the gears guessing you are accelerating or slowing down. If it guesses wrong you get that 1/2 second delay. When the GTR guesses correctly it's like a machine gun compared to a semi automatic pistol.

The Porsche's PDK system is more comparable to the GTR but the CLA lacking like my older 2009 GTR. I'm sure it will improve over time but I feel Porsche and the Nissan system is way more refined.

I have to ask how you have liked the Shakir Orange M6. Im currently trying to decided between a SB and SO for my M4. Had already ordered the black, but when I saw it in person it washed too many of the lines away. Orange looks great in pictures but I have not seen it in person.

Is it too much for a DD? What reactions do you get with it that color?

SO takes balls. If you need to ask, don't do it.

M6-Coupe has those, I've made fun of him for months, and he never wavers, he could pull off any color for that reason alone.

I live in the Nations 4th largest city, there are 6 BMW dealerships within 30 miles of me. And yet not one had a SO in stock for me to go look at. Just an ocean of White and Black and grey. Ive had a SB on order for 2 months but my dealership got one in stock and I went to check it out. Didnt love it. And now Im starting the process all over again.

Wife hates me. Boss thinks Im sick. Even my daughter wonders why I keep looking at car pics online. I need some professional help.

have you read the rules concerning this? I know your pain. it took me like 500+ posts to lock the color, and I indeed was in the verge of a major breakdown while thinking I might have to go MW.

I haven't told at home what the color of the car is, since I was pretty sure I'd fuck it up somehow before getting it. my husband doesn't get to eat at home, since he made fun of the active sound, sound of the car freaks my dog out completely.

I shut down the browser in the speed of light if someone sees me on a laptop and comes nearer. This whole forum is my dirty little secret, and I'm not sharing. If the spouse would find out about this, and that I have spent the last months obsessing about every fucking detail in this project, I would have been served with the divorce papers already.

Now, just to let you know what will finish this marriage off, I have a morr wheel problem now too. I have their webpage open 24/7, and I can not get over this urge to get them, AND I REALLY REALLY REALLY DO NOT NEED TO DO THIS TO MYSELF, and it's not even six am here, and this fucking forum is what I have open, not email, not a book, not nothing reasonable or something I would need to handle like selling a house, and handling bank things, I'm reading this.

SO is a beautiful color at least on M6! If I want to order another one I would go by SO or SG BTW, It's a good feeling to drive a car with unique color that there is no so much like it in street

Who cares about quarter mile times. I care about Corner Speed and braking distances from speed. I just love watching others trying to follow me through the corners and seeing them under steer off the road or slam on the brakes as they realize they are going too fast for their car (skills) in the turn. BMW the ultimate cornering machine!

If you want something to do quarter mile times in get a Dodge SRT Hellcat. 707 HP and top speed of 199. Also don't forget a good lawyer to bail you out of jail for all the reckless driving charges.

That sounds like a good reason for you not to "start" a thread about 1/4 mile times, but it's not much of a reason to post "in" a thread about 1/4 mile times. It's a metric, like any other individual metric, that people like to know. I don't think the people here are in danger of misunderstanding where the M3/M4 shines.

Auto Motor und Sport has done 12.3@191km/h(~118mph) with a manual in the 400m, a 1/4 mile is only 7ft. longer then 400m so probably 12.3-12.4 on a real 1/4mile! Very good I think when you compare with the DCT times!!
