What's the best way to carry food in your car?
I tend to get a lot of fast food to go.
In my 335is, I just seal food in plastic bag and roll windows down when driving with food. While this gets most food smell out of the car, it's not perfect. I am wondering if there is better way to carry food to keep my M3 smell new as long as possible. Any recommendation? (Eg. Food carrier that attaches somewhere inside trunk). BTW, I never eat inside the car. I just carry it to home. Suggestion so far... 1. Put it on the roof rack 2. Put it inside engine compartment to keep food warm 3. Don't eat junk food 4. Get hitch on the back 5. Drive with one arm hanging out holding the food 6. Stick in the trunk 7. Get wife and have her hang out one arm while holding the food Last edited by parky1215; 07-15-2014 at 01:37 PM.. |

Put it in the engine compartment - also helps keep it warm.

Well, good point- but I thought were were discussing odors? I'd much prefer my ride to smell like basil and poppyseed dressing than coffee and French fries!

But I am not all about burgers and french fries. Many times, I get those healthy fast food from places like Flame Broiler. |

Parky, get married, and make her cook. You single guys are just pathetic with your cars!
Says the girl who's buying one to do milk runs. Great thread

Beater fast-food pick-up car!
Seriously, just put it in the trunk, secured by a cargo net, etc. Unless you have a long journey or the food is very pungent you should be OK. Of course, to Lups' point, I'm married and my wife cooks so just ignore me.
