Left lane Lexus RC vs. M4

http://www.leftlanenews.com/first-dr...-f-review.html

"This ain't you're grandfather's Lexus anymore. After years of cranking out comfortable cruisers, Lexus has a pair of bona fide sports coupes with its RC 350 and RC F.

The RC 350 is a worthy alternative to any vehicle in the segment and, dare we say it, the RC F might be our choice over the M4. That's quite the endorsement, but it's hard to pick against a car that combines the technical gadgetry of the M4 and the V8 grunt of the C63 AMG."

V8 grunt of a C63? Are they high? One of those engines is a torque monster and will turn 120+ in the quarter. The other...isn't.

They can have their ugly, overweight car. I'll be happy showing them my M3's taillights.

Good for the RC-F! I was starting to feel sorry for it for all the negative reviews it's been getting.

Yeah, lot of internet pity for the RC-F. This will give clublexus.com something to be happy about on a Friday.

For me the disappointment is how a company with the knowledge and resources of Toyota can't or won't build a better car in this segment, most here would welcome it. But not this 4000 pound boy racer GT.

The car is far too bloated in my eyes...those 19s look more like 17s!

Holy crap that thing weighs >4k? You could have a 200lb man driving and three X 133 lb hotties as passengers and STILL have a weight advantage! Not to mention a LOT more fun!

i want to like it but i just can't.. it's that fat child only a mother can love.. too many lines going everywhere..

Any reason to buy this over a C63? Perhaps reliability.. but sadly thats all it has going for it

this car will NOT sell.. guaranteed.. and even if it doesnt sell, toyota higher ups wont be mad about it.. because they haven't put in any resources to make this shit box thats made of 3 other granny lexus chassis. its almost like they were too scared to put in the dollars into RnD.. sad move by toyota.. what happens when you start tasting dollars from shit hybrids.. forget about the passion in motorsports..

I was hoping Lexus could've nailed it this time around but I'm quite disappointed - M4 it is!

I'd consider an Audi or MB, but having experienced two euro deliveries, I may be stuck with German... no Lexus for me.

I'm sure I can stay happy with the four of them.

Quite the damning review. He pretty much said, 'buy it if you want a Japanese car'.

Wow, they are so upset with the M3/4 on Clublexus.com. Don't go in there, it's a shitshow.

Funny on club lexus they all bash the M4 but in every single category the M4 outshines the Rc-f! The only real competition for the M4 will come from the upcoming C63 and future Rs5 down the road. Club lexus fanatics want to hang their hat up on lexus reliability and that the Rc-f has a Na engine hello even Ferrari is using turbo engines for upcoming models, Amg is also, and even the upcoming Rs5 from Audi. My 2004 330ci has never had a single issue and neither has my 2008 X5 4.8i so the reliability bashing is everyones personal opinion. The truth hurts sometimes but some of them are just dilusional. Its a comedy show on that forum worthy of a good laugh everyone should check it out. I am not a Bmw homer for the record the E63 Amg S is a masterpiece and will potentially be my next vehicle down the road when i am back in the market.

I just went to check it out.

Those guys are so detached from reality it's almost tragic. There is one guy there that constantly says some shit about Lexus providing de-tuned cars to reviewers that's why it's not received very well...it's just a riot over there. Why would they de-tune a slow car to begin with?

Anyway I highly recommend clublexus if you need a bit of a laugh.
