CTS-V vs jb4 M3
Raced my boys m3 last night. No video sorry guys. Pulled 5 cars in Mexico spinning 2nd n 3rd on 4 runs. One run he jumped out like 4 cars because he cheated haha but I reeled him in. Don't get me wrong car hauls ass but I knew I was going to rape him as I am over 600whp, prob 626-650 due to weather temps here now at night. Reason for the post obviously being to brag I killed him...but on a serious note what would it take for him to keep up, 550whp? Up top the M doesn't stand a chance because of how hard it falls on its face. Also curious because I may pass on the new V when it comes out and get the M3, love the ride and feeling of the car when I drove it and white is so sexy.

I raced a stock CTS-V with JB on map 1 and won. What are the mods on yours?
Also, I didn't know you can gain 25-50 whp just because the weather is good.

not sure whats soo funny about that? if you were at the SOCAL EAS dyno day you would have seen JB4 ONLY S55'smaking 520+ whp. catless JB4 AS HIGH AS 560whp. THE cts-v SOUNDS LIKE ITS fbo and he ran a S55 on map 1

The dictionary gives the definition of "bone stock": It means that the car is entirely stock (no aftermarket parts at all) down to its very core. So "JUST JB4" means it is not bone stock. You might try responding without insults and cursing.

Was the M3 a DCT?
The DCT cars seem to be running low 11's on a tune. Manual cars can vary a lot due to driver.

EDIT: I'm not buying it either. If you look at the video I posted against a FBO E85 GTR, it was a couple lengths (if even) and at higher speeds, the M cars begin to creep back up. A heavy V is not going to pull 5 lengths on a JB powered S55 car ever, IMO.

Well they're both fantastic cars. Quick question, what would win between a stock cts-v and stock m4? I mean when you start tuning and modding it's not really a level playing field unless both cars are modded to the complete max and that all depends on the owners. So completely stock..... Who wins ?

My car has minimal mods no where close to fbo. Lid spacer, test pipe e85 conversion and a pulley tuned. Fully bolted they are at 700-750 whp, it would have been bus lengths if that was the case. We are both manual and I have 140+ whp on the car if not more and my car makes great power up top where the M does not. Even the best driver driver cannot make up for that significant of a power spread. Pt being it was good fun and I am just curious what the M would need to make to keep up. I cannot downgrade to something "slower" depending on how you use the car or that does not have the simple fbo capabilities to be "faster" than my previous car.
