If aftermarket adjustable coilovers, adapative?
If I'm planning on lowering the thing with some KW3s or whatever PSSXs that's forthcoming, does it make sense to get adaptive or not? I want to keep things as simple as possible. More mechanical, less electronics.
Thanks.

Get the passive suspension if you're planning on getting coilovers. One less thing you would need to worry about when doing the swap.

I just picked uip my M4 with the passive suspensio coming from an e92 with adaptive. IMHO, adaptive was a total waste for me because I kept in in sport+ every time. Im more than happy with the passive

my point isn't to compare the driving dynamics between adaptive and passive. i want the setup that provides the easiest path to lowering on a quality set of aftermarket adjustable coilovers. if adaptive is the easier path, i'd gladly go that route, but i suspect passive is simpler since it lacks the electronics of the adaptive setup.
thanks.

I had mine ordered with adaptive but because was gonna get KW's, ended up getting passive. One less thing to deal with.
