Yay! I just found out my car is on a boat as of this morning!! I just dropped off my vehicle about a week ago during my ED!
My scheduled departure date was December 4, but it looks like it's still in Bremerhaven though :/. Is anyone else on this boat as well? Update, car arrived at the dealership today (1/19/2015): Last edited by jayyp; 01-19-2015 at 06:11 PM.. |

I just found out I am on this boat and it left Port December 6th. By the time it arrives in the SF Bay Area, It will have been 6 month wait.
Here was my timeline. Deposit placed July 17th August 8th Order accepted Estimated production week 40 Carbon Fiber Roof shortage pushed many orders back, mine got bumped to week 48. Car finished production on 11/26, Sat at loading dock until Dec 6th. |

I've never tracked a ship before but the pinned thread was helpful.
Looks like the ship left Bremerhaven on Dec 6th (Dec 7th in Ger) Made a pit stop in Belgium then docked in Southampton UK. I found on the nykroro.com website that scheduled arrival in Port Hueneme on January 2nd. http://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/...CULES%20LEADER |

I just noticed that, it was annoying to see it not move for 2 days. Now begins probably the longest and most anxious 4 weeks of this whole 6 month journey.

Maybe we are holding for weather. I dont know squat about sailing or weather but one website showed high winds and swells in the area. I also saw online that last week a car carrier like ours collided with another ship in the fog and sank in the English channel. Perhaps they are taking extra precaution and waiting for better weather?

Looks like we are under way again. That was a long 17hr pit stop. Looking at nearby traffic, several other container ships were also sitting in that little peninsula overnight.

This wait is going to be looooooooooong! One more port stop before it hits west coast shores!

Anyone have a site that allows you to track this ships current location? Seems like once it was too far from shore, it can only be tracked by Sat and I only see paid sites (and not cheap) that allow this. Must be one somewhere.
