New release : TC Kline s/a and d/a coil over suspension kits for F8x
Looks like tc Kline has just released their standard single adjustable (23xx.xx) and dual adjustable (30xx.xx) kits for the F80 platform
Good to have another competing product with linear springs My key question is on the d/a kit, how much shorter than stock are the shock and strut bodies and at what ride height are they ideally designed for and will have the most shock travel? Interesting addition to the market, and id take a d/a kit over a kw v3 with random non published progressive spring rates but jmo http://www.tcklineracing.com/index.c...y&Category=924

Sweet! I like the price and the ability to pick your own spring rates.

Both the TC Kline Racing struts and shocks have 1" shorter bodies for added compression travel.
Spring rates recommendations are 350 front and 600 rear or 400 front and 700 rear depending on what you plan to do with your M3/4. |

Single Adjust for road use and light tracking. Double if you track a couple times a year.

Spring rates do not impact ride quality nearly as much as shock damping and suspension travel. While I don't have TC Kline coilers, 400/700 is not that stiff at all.
Consider the fact that Swift springs, which people claim ride very well, have rates of 280/730 on stock shocks with no shortening of strut body for more suspension travel, not properly matched dampers, etc. It is easy to see how KWs, with properly matched shock travel and shock damping, can provide good ride quality with even seemingly stiff springs. |

KW CS and V3 you can customize spring rates. KW CS is just the std. 60mm Spring IIRC. But the V3 needs a conversion kit(at least on the E92)
JRZ's for me if I was doing DA's. Truly customizable, easily serviceable, and great support. But the more choices there are in the marketplace the better. |

The only challenge I can see, most people may not know how to ask for custom valving, that's the added value that retailers and distributors should provide IMHO. |

This tells me that you won't track your car, which is of course quite alright. However if you will not, why would you waste your money on coilovers? Huge waste of money dmk.
