You already got a discount on the car, which really isn't much. Pretty good considering the area.

However, if you have the credit, you're entitled to the published rate. Don't let them dick you around, and don't be afraid to ask for the published rate.

Bad MF. Guessing they probably jacked up the fees too. I personally wouldn't have signed.

It's tough in the bay area, but 16 should be easy. You'll need to go to LA if you want the "buy rate" 0013 (or 0016 for ED)

What's the deal over there? Too much tech money sloshing around buying all cash or outside financing? I could see that scenario making for slimmer pickings in the F+I department. Then they screw over the leasing crowd to make up the difference.

In SF they were marking up M4s $25,000

Not that shocking really, a lot of markets are doing this.

Pretty standard in Houston - if you don't push back the dealers will definitely mark up the money rate and acquisition fee.

I saw a guy basically get tossed at a dealer for asking for a $500 over invoice deal on a new M235i.

If you want to travel it's fine but if all the dealers in the area are doing the same thing it's pretty hard to get past.
