How many miles (oil) for Blackstone analysis?
What would be the minimum number of miles for the oil before I can send it out for their analysis? I want to get it done but don't want to wait too long.

Use whatever your standard interval is, if you want to start a baseline going and be consistent.

I say anywhere from 5k-7.5k is good. I wouldn't go over 7.5k personally (just a personal preference). I change it every 6 months or every 6k which ever comes first. (i don't drive too much).

I'm new to the forum here and new to m3's. What is this blackstone report everyone is getting? From what I can gather it's to eval if you're having an engine problem. My car has a little over 20k miles. Should I be looking into getting one of these reports?

It's to follow trend in your wear metals thru sampling of your oil. Won't help much once problem already has occured. I have a track only car and send in my sample every oil change to get a trend and will hopefully know how my engine is doing as well as determine how many track days/miles I should be using as an interval.
