In production!
I just called BMWNA and found that my X6M went into production this morning!
Should be built by next Friday.... waiting to hear back from my SA on when he thinks I may be able to collect it! So, I guess that means my spec is locked in too - X6M - 21" rims - Donington Grey - Full Mugello Red interior - Carbon Fiber trim - Executive Pack - Driver Assistance Plus - B&O Sound - Parking Assistant - Night Vision - Enhanced USB (I left this on just in case we can't code this any more... I can remove that stupid dock thing) Eugh! Waiting! |

Congrats! Nice color choice, same as my X5M.

Most likely it will be available at the dealer in Seattle about 4 weeks after it completes production. It goes by rail to the VPC in Oxnard then trucked up to Seattle.

If everything goes smoothly I wouldn't be surprised if you see it turn up before the end of the month. A good friend here just took delivery of an X6 5.0. Transit time was less than 10 days from Spartanburg to Oxnard to our dealer here in the Bay Area. He works for BMW but it's his purchase, not a company car.

Hmmm.... the plot thickens. Although my vehicle is still "in production" the estimated completion date just shot up by a week.
BMWNA claims they know nothing more..... |

BMWNA is useless...my car has been "waiting to be released to the carrier" for 14 days, and they can't tell me anything more. Doesn't make sense that it's waiting that long to be transported.

I've heard a rumor about some trouble with the new wheels, not the first batch but the latter ones. Might be worth checking with some who have inside contacts
