Rearview Mirror Help

I want to hardwire my dashcam in the area of my rear view but how do I remove the plastic compartment behind the rearview?

you can split the plastic covers from the base. Just pull the two pieces apart and work your way up. You can use a piece of plastic (credit card, etc) to help if you have trouble separating the two halves.
