Install times for OEM Performance Equipment
So when you buy OEM M Performance equipment ... besides calling a ton of different dealerships, is there a resource that shows what the BMW "recommended hours" to install equipment.
Point in case.. a local dealership quoting 1.5 hours, another 1 hour, another .25 hours to install the MPPK.. Some possibilities: -Dealerships are using a BMW guide? -Dealerships using the BMW guide but possibly they are not using an updated service bulletin? -Dealerships have a guide but want to see how much they can get? Im just really confused at the great variances here... Can we get ahold of the labor guide from BMW? |

Not sure about all M-performance mods, but usually on the official BMW website, where you actually find the possible OEM mods listed for your car, you also have the installation times quoted.

When we put our build in we ordered the MPPK with it. The dealership didn't install it. My Sales guy told me they would install it over at the factory.
