X5 F15 Service

So once in a while I push my xdrive35i near the limit with straight line accelerations and . (I almost never redline, most I've done it is 5-10 times. I shift at 5500 to 6250 revs) I have 1500 miles on the car right now and service is due in 7000 miles Is that bad from the normal 10,000 mile service it started from? Or is it ok to push the car a good amount?

As long as you started "pushing" your X5 after 1,200 miles break in period I think your fine. Enjoy your BMW and drive it like it was meant to be!

That is fine. The topic of break-in period have been discussed a lot of times. It is a 50/50 split on the opinion.
I am in the side where the engineering and manufacturing process is advance enough, where we don't even need to do a break-in period. That also because BMW tech redline the engine a few time in the factory during inspection.

As far as the oil change, BMW computer will adjust itself on your frequency and habit of driving. With my F10 5'er, since my wife who drive it most, the oil change interval is on the schedule 10k. While the F15 I drive is about 8000 miles.
