M Steering Wheel
I recently purchased a 2015 X5 with Msport. I noticed that the top section of the steering wheel is not as thick as other part of steering wheel (thumb rest is exception). My M4 wheel has consistent thickness around, and a loaner 328 with Msport I got today has almost the same thickness as well.
Is this only for X5? |

I just saw this thread and checked out my steering wheel and to me it appears that the 7 o'clock and 5 o'clock location of the steering wheel is slightly thicker than the 12 o'clock location of the steering wheel...

I didn't get technical and measure the diameter of the top part of the steering wheel on my Msport but I would agree with you that it feels thinner than other areas of the wheel.
