Ran a hellcat today..
So I have yet to see one on the road.. however the first one I see, eyed me down then passes me today ON IT - weaving though light traffic. I figured that since they have 700hp and considering what I have seen online to date, that I would probably loose. I caught up and landed a left turn light with him and the (Black/black Challenger w/dealer paper plates) Hellcat made it very evident he wanted a peice of the M, so I decided to run. We sat at the light for a minute or two, certainly giving him time to swap keys if need be, and we get the green. We both launch on point and take the corner in first gear rolling..
We hit the straight simultaneously and both hook reasonably well, I am in Sport+ and shift 1-2-3 perfect- letting off around 90-100mph. It was Very close, but I got him by about 1/4 car length. Not sure what would have happened if we kept at it, I am just Very proud of my M. Gave him thumbs up and minutes later the rain started here in SoCal, it was epic. Has anyone else ran one? I am a stock '13 6mt with k&n filters on 91 octane btw.

If he was on the silly 275s those cars come with then there is no chance of him getting any power down. I imagine if he had any sort of traction control turned on, it was screaming at him.

Thanks, hah I was pretty shocked.
Yea that car looked like it could defiantely use some tire, not only to put down the Hp better but aesthetically as well. &I couldn't tell what Trans it had.. I will look out for him again though, it was right next to my office in La Jolla

One win doesn't equal always win. Look at Ferrari and Vettel earlier this year. One win and not many more. We need to validate. I haven't ran one yet. I'll make sure to try and bring the pain.
