Bay Area - Any recommendations on where to get your parts installed?
Hey guys,
I'm fairly new to this forum and I'm wondering if you guys could give me any recommendations on shops that does a good job/reasonable labor on installations for F80s here in the Bay Area. I'm looking to install electronic steering wheel, spoiler, diffuser, and etc. Thanks in advance! |

Most shops I know of are in the east bay and most of my friends go to Performance Technic if you don''t mind driving out there I'm sure they will take care of you. If you're on facebook you should join the F8X norcal group people there might eb able to point you to a shop in SF

Go to Alekshop and tell them I sent you. They are honest and run a top notch shop.

I have worked with both Performance Technic and Alekshop. Performance Technic most of the time dont have any time and are very busy but they are open on weekends even though they wont be able to work on your car. They did try to charge me $120+ just for the front CF splitters. I didn't get it done and later talked to the owner who sorted things out. Now they apparently don't have time for me and actually told me to go to Alekshop . Or they are just way too busy, who knows!
As for Alekshop, I drive from Livermore to them as they are not as busy and do an excellent job. Only problem is I have to do a work from home or take a day off to get the work done. Alekshop maybe closer to you. |

I have gotten all my parts installed at San Carlos Performance. Great work, close to the city and prices that make sense. They have always been flexible and worked around my schedule to get the car in and out.
Tell Kevin you saw it on the forums and he will give you better pricing.

+1 for Alekshop. Aleks and Paul are great guys and have done all the work on my e90 from building it up to tearing it back down to stock. Performance Technic is a really good shop, but way too far for me.
