My 2010 135i had the iPhone/iPod integration option plus phone bluetooth. It did not have audio streaming over bluetooth. With this adapter I was able to get bluetooth streaming. In addition to this I was able to change the music using the controls on the steering wheel and see artist/song information on my navigation screen.

I'm willing to ship.

I used this with my iPhone 5s. The adapter connects to the BMW iphone/ipod integration cable. That cable plugs into the USB port and 3.5mm jack in your car. Then you pair your phone via bluetooth. You phone doesn't connect directly to anything.

Gotcha, but thinking of if you need to charge phone from time to time, just remove the Bluetooth dongle and connect directly to the phone. Otherwise you'd have to have a second lightning cigarette cable to charge.

I really like this set up tho.

They way I had it installed it was tucked away and not visible. If I needed to charge my phone I just used a car charger and the cigarette lighter socket.
