F16 X6 Front Reflector

Does anybody know if the F15 side reflectors are the same as the F16's?

http://ind-distribution.com/ind/f15-...-reflector-set

I'm interested in purchasing this, but ind only has it listed under the F15 section.

I have a few questions regarding the replacement of the reflectors, perhaps RGSport can answer for us.

1. Does the "easy method" that Opasha posted work? Has anybody followed those directions and successfully replaced the reflectors?
http://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1080184

2. In that thread someone mentioned about the white rivets being single-use. Can we purchase that from you RGSport? How many do we need and is it just the white rivets or do we also need the blacks?

3. If we follow the PDF instructions from RGSport then do we still need to get the white rivets?

4. Is the installation procedure the same for the F16?

@Stunnaz ,

1. That method never been proven. No offense to opasha friend. But I don't see any otherway to do it without removing the plastic rivets and partial of the fender liner.

2. Yes, I have it listed in both black and white.

3. You still need to get the replacement rivet, whether the oem one time use or not.

4. F15 and F16 has the same front end. I haven't done one yet, but by looking at it, it looks the same as the F15.

I agree with you it's a royal PITA! I've built cars from scratch and this is the only time such a small visual has bothered me this much.

Thanks for answering RGSports. 2 more questions.

1. Any difference other than the colors for the rivets?

2. So my understanding is that we need 6, 3 for each front side?

1. No difference other than color.

2. Correct, 3 on each side as you don't need to remove the fender flare at all.
If you feel uncomfortable and want to remove the fender flare, you will need a total of 16 rivets.
