"Creaky" rear of roof. Any solutions?
I know E89 tops are prone to creaking and other noises, but I noticed today on a poorly surfaced twisty mountain road I'm beginning to hear more than I like coming from behind the drivers seat, possibly in the trunk where the hardware lives. Anyone have any advice?

My very last creak turned out to be broken roof protector hinges.
Take a look at the two black plastic hinges. You may need to remove the protector to have a better look. This was mine: Last edited by bigendbob; 06-08-2015 at 02:33 AM.. |

That's helpful; I'll check them the next time I can wrestle the car away from my wife (it's her DD).
