Hi,

===============

Update: Exhaust is still for sale. I have dropped the price to reflect that it does not come with connecting pipes and clamps. For a bolt-in install, it will require 2 pipes and 2 clamps as shown in the diagram below. Part numbers and pricing through getbmwparts.com are shown below.

# 2 – connecting pipes:

18302208717, left, 184.46
18302208719, right, 184.46

# 3 – clamps:

18307536426, 48.90 each

================

This is an authentic BMW M Performance exhaust that I had installed on my previous 2011 E92 M3 by the dealer when the car was brand new. It has been entirely coated in matte black ceramic coating. This is one of the best-sounding exhausts for the E92, with no drone, and the ceramic coating eliminates the ugly unfinished look of the canisters.

This exhaust has about 10,000 miles on it, and has been in storage since the spring of 2013. There are some scratches in the ceramic coating on the bottom side of the exhaust from road debris, and the ceramic coating is peeling a bit at the base of the tips. Otherwise it looks/works like new.

Attached pics are of the following:

1. Top side of exhaust (Note, there is water in the inside of the tips in this picture, since I had just cleaned the exhaust when I took the pic.)

2. Close up of right tips

3. Close up of left tips

4. Rear side of exhaust

5. Underside of exhaust

My price is $1,750 or best offer, including shipping anywhere in lower 48.

Thanks,
Phil

Can the coating be peeled off the tips? Are connecting pipes included?

I believe the only option to remove ceramic coating is blasting it off. This sale is for just the exhaust, no pipes.

Sorry for my stupidity everyone but does the M Performance exhaust have a different muffler only or does it have unique connecting pipes? Will this bolt up to my stock exhaust? Got my first M so sorry for my ignorance. My research leads to believe only the muffler is unique?

It utilizes its own specific connecting pipes that clamp on vs the stock exhaust where pipes/muffler are as one. See pics:

bump for a 1,200 muffler, FYI people interested you can usually get custom connecting pipes for under 200$. From my experience with custom exhaust parts, It's usually not that expensive..

A suggestion to OP to buy the connecting pipes and clamps and sell it together. It is very hard to sell it apart because not many dealers sell connecting pipes alone.

No, The E90 has different connecting pipes for a flush fitment...otherwise it sticks out to far.

The BMW kit comes with connecting pipes and clamps; not sure of the fitment on the E92 with stock pipes - anyone?
