deal with schomp bmw went sour, any help finding a 2016 deal?

So I had a deal with clint , yeah everyone knows that deal, he was giving invoice + 500 for a 2016 m4 ED . I had the deal set and was about to put a deposit in when the bad news came in which he left and now Jeff took over. He is now not willing to honor my previous deal me and Clint agreed on.Offering me 3k over invoice. what should I do? just find another dealer ? , and can someone help me on the right direction on a dealer that would be close at least for a 2016 m4 .

Well that is unfortunate. Try to offer $2k over invoice. Allocation is very hard to get right and the dealerships who have allocation arent budging on the msrp. Im sure there are other dealerships who can offer $1000-2000 off ED invoice but itll be tough. The dealership i went to which gave me $1k over ED invoice are now offering $1k off on msrp only. I guess they saw the demand and limited allocation. Anyways, goodluck and happy hunting.

Simple answer... look elsewhere. Why they won't honor your deal is BS to the max!! Make sure they know that and see what happens but definitely go elsewhere. I'm pissed just thinking about it... Good luck! Hope you connect with a dealer who some integrity.

Sent you a PM for the bay area dealer I'm working with that does below MSRP. Not as good as the old Schomp deal, but it's local. I think he has available M4 allocations, and definitely has another open M3 allocation.

Sorry to hear that. I also had the "Clint" deal go south on me with them but I had been working with several other dealers at the same time as I wasn't ever convinced Clint could come through on his promises. Luckily I secured my M3 order yesterday. Im certainly paying a lot more but I don't care. It sounds like M4 allocations are a lot easier to come by so shop around a bit. I'm going to have to back out of a local (NorCal) deposit spot with a pretty good CA. He didn't have a m3 this month but he might be able to slide you into a m4. If that's something your interested in PM me.

Did you have a signed deal? Did you already have a deposit down? If you answer yes to either of those stand firm and get the deal you were promised. If not then start shopping again.

Damn that's crazy. Guess they will loose that "top dealer" or whatever that special status is called. Been a few people with deals that went south with schomp.

If they deal like that they don't deserve your business and will screw you somewhere else.

2 cents.

This is a silly post. Until you put down a deposit you don't have a deal. Clint wasn't doing $500 over on ED for the last few weeks, so I don't see why anyone would think they could get that deal now. Seems like just a post trying to blame Schomp when it seems like they have honored every one of Clint's deals where someone had put a deposit down. Maybe I will be proved wrong but I think this is just an unfair hatchet job on a dealer that doesn't seem to have done anything wrong.

i didnt sign a deal . i had sent him my order list and he acknowledged it. That week when he left, actually that day i was about to call him to sign the deal and put deposit it. timing is key to everything i guess. i will surely let them know on the next deal i receive.

I started out working with Schomp myself on a 16' M4. I talked to a few different sales folks as the first guy I dealt with was new and didn't know much of anything so I asked for somebody with some experience just to get some answers. Nobody was willing to budge on MSRP at all. After learning what deals so many on the forum were getting I walked away. I do live here in CO so I went 15min away to another local dealership and within 30min had a signed deal well under MSPR. The car just came out of production this last week so I'm getting close. Everything work out for a reason.

Good luck finding a good deal and different dealership.

Schomp honored all deals that were SIGNED and DEPOSITED, after reading this post it does make me feel they were probably reluctantly to do so. Good thing a majority of us jumped on the deal while it lasted.

Sorry to hear OP. I'm sure you will be able to find another deal elsewhere.

Best of luck!

FWIW they have honored my deal after Clint left. I've had a deposit and paperwork submitted since the first week of June. The new CA has been fantastic.
