Pictures from my ED Pickup on 7/7/15

Definitely an amazing experience. Only had a few days with the car as I had to get to Amsterdam, but tried to make the most of it.


Tried to post earlier, but I was having problems uploading the images and had to figure out another method.

Great car and pictures! Welcome to the AY club, although since you picked up 2 days before me, you can welcome me.

How do you like the color so far? Was it the first time you saw it in person? Seeing an AY M4 in person is a main reason I ordered the color for my M3.

OneRib Yes. Welcome to the AY M club. Although you picked up a few days before me, you definitely managed to get some posts/pics up before did.

Your car looks great. It does gets some looks for sure over there.

We were at the Porsche museum in Stutgart, and in the parking garage with all of these amazing porsche's around us, I was pulling out and this guy pulls out his camera and video tapes me leaving.

Just made me chuckle inside considering how much other eye candy that there is there to take a picture of...

I didn't get to really see one in person before I ordered. Just a bunch a pictures online. And since it was out of my normal comfort zone to get that color, I got the wife's input. I gotta say, it was a hell of a good decision. Love the color and the car.

Just can't wait to get it back stateside.

Considering some mods already.
1. Carbon fiber Spoiler. where and which ones to get?

2. wheel spacers - looks like consensus as to what goes is 15 front and 12 back. anyone with any other suggestions? stock 19" wheels, stock springs with adaptive M. want a good aggressive look.

3. got the cable already for some coding. only have a mac right now. Do i need to get a windows laptop to do this though?

4. Black grill surrounds

5. clear bra and ceramic tint to round it off.


Miamiboyca It was good meeting up with you there. hope the rest of your trip went well. We had quite a few M's during our pick up which made delivery quite enjoyable.

You can use a Mac, but run Windows on it. I am going to be conservative and just buy a cheap used windows laptop that I only use for coding. I'll just wipe it down to bare windows. I don't want any other programs (anti virus, firewall, etc.) causing issues.

Well I think the only thing I could work on in terms of mods at this time would be on this. Any mods available for it? It's the only part of the car I have right now.

I honestly think they should have done more with the keys lol out of all the damn M logos all over the car they couldn't slap just 1 more on the key!?!?!?!? xD

funk74 Ditto - It was great meeting you and your friends. I honked at you as I was leaving you but you were uber focused on your delivery. Love that color, wish I was that bold but my DL can't afford it.

I have Macs only too, but you can installed bootcamp with a temp windows just for the coding. Let me know if you need me to hook you up with my coding guy, he does everything remote for a small fee, totally worth it.

Not true don't forget about your first aid kit, warning triangle w/bracket, and USB stick (which I forgot in the car ).

Someone mentioned leaving a note in the car to leave the tag in the trunk when the car gets to the U.S. I forget where I saw that on the forum.

I heard the tags don't make it to the dealer unless you specifically ask for it to be left in the car.

I didn't ask on my F10 and there they were... I'll let you know when mine gets here in a few weeks.

Hey! Pretty sure we met at your delivery as mine was the same day and I think we were on the factory tour with you guys. I picked up the mineral gray m4 (hard top). Hope you guys had blast on your trip!

I didn't do anything special either. I'll just tell my CA I want them if they show up with the car.

When I dropped off my car in Amsterdam. The person there had already printed out a form/note to place in the car that said to please leave the tag in the car. I guess they are used to that question.

Also my delivery specialist told me to do the same thing when I picked up the car at Welt.

So hopefully everyone in the chain of taking care of the car can read and follow instructions.

I hope so. I will admit, I'm not as interested in the plates as others. If I don't get them, it's not a huge deal.
