iPhone 4 Compatibility
After doing some research for some time on being able to properly use apps from my phone, my last resort includes admitting that I'm still in the stone age with my iPhone 4. Has anyone been able to pair the phone successfully for app use?
My car pairs with the phone for Bluetooth (phone and audio streaming), but I've tried using the y-cable without success. When I plug the phone in the armrest console USB, it buzzes continuously and never shows a physical connection to the car. My main objective is to be able to use the apps I downloaded to my phone, including the M-laptimer and web radio. Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks!

There is no need for the OEM Y cable in any F8x as it comes standard with BMW Apps. Use the Apple white USB cable.
