I'm like 99.99% sure that there is a forum on teh interwebz that swears up and down that the Hyundai Genesis is everything the M3/M4 should have been.

The new CTS-V is the M5 competitor.
Like what has been said, kinda isn't really a lot of options if keeping with the same formula. Chevy SS Caddy ATS-V Audi RS5 (it may not have hit the mark but it was meant to challenge the M) Merc C63 The new Alfa could have a chance. RCF ISF to a certain degree Can you compare the base 991 911? That's probably it really. |

Well by the numbers the RS5 should have been able to keep up with the F8x, but being a high strung NA motor it's left behind. Well not to mention the inferior engine placement and the quattro, meh.

When the RS5 came out, the E92 M3 was out. it competed with the E92 M3 that had the same type of engine. dont worry, the next one will have a turbo. |

And there lies the problem with all Audi's.
And yet with the same power as the E92, it was still inferior. I hope there is. The 4.2 was pretty cool in 2002, but now, meh, gas guzzling and high strung. Pretty much the same reason I wouldn't go for an S65. |

Merc AMG C63 Base 911 Mustang 350 These are the ones i'm gonna test drive when my lease is up... by then I'm hoping the M4 will have a respectable competition package that'll make me get a new M4... and the competition package better have a power bump number in it! |
