Changing oil on slanted driveway...

Am I out of luck on being able to do a DIY oil change... I just moved to a house for a year where we don't have a useable garage... Just a slanted driveway.

I don't think this'll be safe, but maybe some people here have done it in the past:

Use wheel chocks on the rear wheels, lift the front onto rhino ramps and do the oil change and make sure the parking brake is also fully engaged.

Bad idea? Will I even get all the oil out with this slant?

Push comes to shove, I'll just bring it in somewhere. =/

I think I could... Are there any laws that I should be aware of? I'll probably get strange looks. I don't think there are any community type rules (not in a community). And nothing in my lease that says otherwise

Then do that just avoid hanging a leg out and getting run over and also make sure not to spill oil. I have slanted driveway and street. I change oil on my x5d with ramps at front. About levels out the vehicle and creates enough space to get under it easily. My track car just do on the lift in garage. Weird I know but lift won't support x5d and don't wanna jockey track car around to get x5d into garage.

You can always lower the car once you get the drain plug out to let the last bit of oil empty itself, then just jack it up again. I've done that before.
