YAAT: Yet Another Arrival Thread
It took a couple months, but now it's home. Just love it.
One thing that is going to take some getting used to is getting into an out of this thing. Just not used to a vehicle with seating position this high. And I haven't cracked the code yet on exiting smoothly w/o sliding across the seats with more force than I'd like. Over time that will lead to some wear; so I better get something on these things early to protect them. Anyone have leather protection recommendations? Just get something straight from BMW? |

Beautiful car. Plan on getting wife one once M4 paid off.
What is the yellow car beside it?

I use the LeatherMaster leather products. I applied leather barrier to the seat bottoms, and then protection cream (matte version) to everything else the day after I took delivery at the Performance Center. I use the strong and soft cleaners to clean, and then occasionally apply leather vital to moisturize the leather. I've been pleased with the results. I have mugello red in my X5 M, and it looks brand-new after 5k miles of use. I only have minor creasing on the bottom side bolster.
One can purchase the products at http://shop.unitersna.com |
