DCT oil Re-fill

Good afternoon, so im about to do an oil change on the engine and I wanted to service the DCT too. After reading a lot of threads regarding the leaky pan seals I took a look at mine and as expected there's oil sipping from the mechatronics pan.
So the question is, isn't it more practical to just buy a liter of DCT fluid and refill it every time I make an oil change? Instead of paying $260 for a full service kit or even worse $2K+ for a repair that doesn't guarantee it won't leak again..

What do you guys think?

Many of us don't really believe in "lifetime fluids" and would change out the DCT fluid and filters at some point (maybe 50-60k miles?).

As far as seepage from a gasket, that is up to you if it is on your dime. A little bit of fluid gathering dust on the transmission case is one thing, but if it is really dripping and getting into the belly pan or onto the garage floor, that would warrant more attention. The high repair cost is unfortunate, and possibly an indie repair shop could do this at a better price, but to R&R the tranny is going to be a few hundred bucks before doing any repair work.

Thanks man, the belly pan seems to have just a drop spot it isn't soaking in oil so I assume its very little, i'm going to try and refill it and show the results.

I would thoroughly clean it and inspect once a week to see how bad it is. The gaskets might just be weeping a tiny bit, which I wouldn't really lose any sleep over. I would, however, get nervous if the spot is sizable after just a week or you see drops.
