Instrument Cluster: How do I turn this off? 6MT

I skimmed through the manual but I didn't see anything specifically telling me about this. There is another number next to the gear indicator which seems to be a "suggestion" of what gear I should be in to maximize fuel efficiency.

I photoshopped an image below to illustrate what I mean. How do I turn that thing off?

With the MT, I don't think you can turn off the shift point indicator without also turning off the current gear indicator. There is already a thread on it.

AFAIK, you cannot turn just the suggestion off. You can turn the whole thing off, but then it won't show they gear you're in.

Or, you could just put a piece of electrical tape over that part of the display, if it really bothers you

Bah! Okay, well I guess I'll just live with it and think I'm a rebel and a badass every time I don't listen to the suggestion.
