Front brake sensor malfunction
I replaced my brake sensors as I tried to reset the rear before understanding it needed a new sensor. So when I did that it complained about all the sensors.
The rear replaced and reset fine but the front can't seem to read and I have disconnected and reconnected them. i wanted to make sure I had them seated properly. Any other ideas or do I just have to take it to a stealership? Irks me that I had to replace the damn things in the first place I have at least 45k miles left on the front pads. |

Just to be clear, you unplugged both front wheel sensors at the same time and then plugged them both back in?
Seating is secondary since the sensors reset based on unplugging the main connection point. Even if you seated them incorrectly, it will not change the process of resetting the brakes. It WILL affect the ability to sense when your pads need replacing. |

Yes I replaced both front sensors at the same time and now I get a yellow brake pad warning like it can not detect or has a problem with the sensors. The rear sensor replaced and reset just fine.

Take your two old sensors
Cut the tips off of where the sensor is Strip back some wire from the main jacket Strip back some wire from each lead Twist the two wires back together. You can use electrical tap or a wire butt to connect Plug the sensors back in to the car Try resetting. IF that clears it, your new sensors may have an issue with one or both |
