Recommend an exhaust shop to weld some V band clamps!
I was reading an article by moto iq recently where they had kooks modify the test pipes and stock exhaust with v bands to make swapping back and forth from stock to test pipes pretty seamless. So I'm thinking I want to have the same done before the car has to be smogged. Can anyone recommend a quality shop that can tig weld v bands and not cost an arm and a leg? What im.trying to accomplish can be seen below is the photos I "borrowed" from the article.

Yes I know allegedly the clamps should work on the cats but I want v bands because I think they provide a better seal overall even with the test pipes installed place.

I know someone that could do that he's very good.
Check out Pagparts.com. He fabricates big turbo kits and all he does is use vband clamps and he's in Astoria Long Island city |
