Bavsound ghost subwoofer worth it?

Hey guys, I have the Harmon kardon system in my M4 but have always been underwhelmed by the bass/low end. For those of you that added only the bavsound ghost subwoofer was it worth it? Was there really a noticeable difference?

It's a noticeable difference just changing out the sub yes. Is it worth it? Up to you. I think so because it's plug and play and stealth, but it's your money.

It will never come close to adding a trunk sub. Those are midbass WOOFERS, not "subwoofers".

I dunno. After 3+months, I still have no idea when I am getting my 4 ohms sub!
The whole experience is not worth it so far,.....

For the price, ease of install and stock look yes.

They def have more bass, not a ton more but there is more.
The biggest difference is how much tighter and accurate they are. They are very musical.

They won't kick you're ass when you're playing rap but they are awesome if you listen to kick drums!!
I think them combined with the stage 1 make a great system. Would the car benefit from a trunk sub? Yes but it's a much more involved install and costly. Plus if you do the ghost subs you can add a trunk sub later and it will be even better.

My thoughts exactly! I've been really happy with the ghost sub. I also have the stage 1.

They sound better than stock and took less than 30 mins to install

We've done a couple of customer cars here with them. It is definitely a noticeable difference both sitting in the cabin and just hearing it from outside of the car with the windows down. "Is it worth it" is always a tough question since it is all relative for one's want vs the cost. The great thing about these and all of the BSW products is that they are direct plug and play. You don't need to modify anything and you can always pop them out for resale when lease returns are up. I've been meaning to get my hands on a set of these since the mids and tweeters made such a huge difference in my M3.

Easy install, much cleaner sound and when paired with Stage 1 and a quality audio source, very much worth it.
