Anyone's car on the Trianon?

Anyone else on the Trianon? Seems to have been delayed in Southampton for some reason... arghhh. The wait is killin' me.

My CA said it arrived yesterday actually. I have a 335 on it. im suspecting my M3 is on it too since it arrived yesterday too. my only other possible vessel is green cove

congrats in advance btw. where will you be picking up your car from? did they tell you ETA on when you can pick it up? i was told *around* the 10th

so i got several emails confirming my car will be at final port on the 6th. i called my CA today and she said she just checked and couldnt locate my car

sounds like im fucked???

Hey Mantis,

Glad to hear someone else has a car on the Trianon! I'm picking mine up in the Bay Area and was told it would take about a week...

. But I'm totally psyched it's on American soil finally.

BTW - you ordered two cars? That's awesome. You'll be able to compare the 335 and M3 side by side. Are they coupes, sedans or mixed? Will look forward to your impressions.

lol im only buying one. i had a 335, and have driven some 6MT ones so i can compare already. all i can say is they're completely 2 different cars, there's nothing i can find similar about them. i was hoping M3 would have 335's tranny feel, but it's far far from it (im told it'll improve after break-in). yes the 335 "feels" faster. the torque you feel at 1500 RPM in the 335 (proceded) *feels* absent in the M3 for sure. i didnt wanna make a thread on this coz it's

steering of M3 = steering of M6 or very similar, and nothing like the heavy steering of 335. both precise but M3's steering feels like it's doing something for you, i loved it.

to be honest i feel a bit disappointed with the tranny of M3. other than that i will be drooling all over the car for the next few years for sure

btw 1 week to norcal is not that bad, it'll be there before you know it man

My CA called me to tell me the car got to the dealership today!

I'm OOT but back to pick it up Friday afternoon.

Obviously, I'm ecstatic!

BTW - 6MT, 19"'s, loaded, graphite...and... m3 mats.

Here's hoping yours will be there asap!!

I picked mine up last night... straight from the airport to the dealership through bay area rush hour, Friday get-away traffic no less. That was torture.

But.... it's all good now!

It's great! I was hoping to post an initial impressions review and pics soon but haven't had time. I will get some shots tomorrow at work hopefully...

Basically I am floored by this car. It's that good to me. For me, it's a perfect blend of visceral muscle car feel and refined German sports car engineering execution. I love the little things too.. like the iDrive (gasp). And the iPod integration... Even the sun shades are cool.

Mine, btw is a sedan. Loaded, graphite.
