Would anyone consider trading X5M to a 2017 Porsche 911 C4S?

If you had the chance to trade in your F85 X5M to a new Porsche 911 C4S and use it as your daily driver, would you trade it?

No way, I love my X5M! All around great daily driver...plenty of room, AWD, fun to drive, good looking.

I have both (kind of, 991.1 GTS) and I could not imagine just having one of them w/o the other bc they are both so fun and serve a purpose for my wife and I. If I could only own one though, Id take the F85 because it is more practical. Obviously the 4 wheel allows it to be a daily driver, but no backseat for any normal sized human and minimal trunk space just makes the C4s impractical.

I've owned several 911s, all pre-991. I loved every one of them, and the 991 is an even better package. The only reason why I'm not in one now is the need for more space & 4 doors. Sadly the Panamera just doesn't live up to the experience unless you're in a $140K+ version (GTS at a min, if not Turbo).

For me, I'd trade the F85 easily for a new C4S if I didn't need the space it provides. Given that I do need the space, the F85 is turning out to be a far better alternative that I expected it to be. Faster than almost all, family-friendly comfort when you want, and all sorts of space when needed.

I was about to sell/trade in my X5M for my 991 Turbo. After thinking long and hard, decided against it and still bought the 991 Turbo. I love driving my X5M as a commuter car! Lmao! You only live once!

It is more of an "add" than a "replace" for me as well.

+2, to tastelid .

Unless you have another comfortable and fast hauler, I wouldn't trade it.
But, I will trade to the turbo though, especially if you can get the MT.

The 991 is great as long as you don't have passengers (more than 1) or need to carry anything. Definitely wins in the fun to drive category. Really hard to compare the two as DD since they are very different.

Like several others, I have both and it is a perfect combination.

No MT in the 991 Turbo (only PDK). However since the 991.2 are now all turbos, technically you can get a MT in a 911 carrera, which is turbocharged.

Yea, what a bummer on both categories. No turbo comes in MT anymore and no NA anymore. Not that I don't like the turbo, but NA much easier to drive for daily. In my case, it keep you sane on the road.
