Software update for ConnectedDrive

I checked on http://www.bmw.com/com/en/owners/con...re_update.html and found an update (UPD05073) for my car. Has anyone tried it? Does it mess with any Bluetooth capabilities added to your car by coding?

FYI. That update has been out since September of last year... nothing since then...
