BPM emissions tune

I have the emissions tune file & I need to pass inspection.

There is test pipes welded on the car.

I flashed to the emissions tune and the car was still not ready to pass emissions.

I immediately flashed back to my sport tune.

If I flash to the emissions tune & drive modestly for 50 miles & do a couple start stop cycles will that enable all the emissions to be "ready" for the inspection station??

Thanks

I remember an old post from a guy in NJ and you can pass in NJ if you have only one readiness monitor not ready. Many other states are like this too.

There is a specific "drive cycle" that needs to take place for the monitors to be "ready"
You need access to a scanner that reads readiness monitors.
Aside from advice from anyone, you need to actually scan your car to see what's ready and what is not ready.
I do know that most emissions test stations do FREE checks.
Might be worth looking into if you cant get hands on a scanner

Wait...what? Mike has an emissions tune? I need this! I don't want to take off my x-pipe again to put my OEM back on for the test. Do tell.

You still need to put your cats on. The emissions tune just enables the monitors so, with the cats, the system will run and complete its tests..

I use a $13 Scanner to check for monitor readiness and it works great. I was able to get most sensors to set with only 5-6 miles of slow (50-55MPH) highway driving on the West Side Highway except for Secondary Air which required a completely cold start with a short idle period.

I tried to PM the OP but your mailbox was full so send me a message when you have a chance.

No they wont work.
Simulators are going to trick the system and still have a "not ready" state.
O2 spacers...maybe. But that's a BIG maybe and there is nothing certain about that.
