Engine mounts
I'm about to change our the engine mounts. Anyone know if I should change out the transmission mount as well while engine mount is being worked on? Anything else recommended that should be replaced while mount is being replaced?
Thanks |

While I had the wheels off I let PB Blaster soak into my rotor set screws and then replaced them with stainless steel set screws after I finished up. It might help avoid a potentially big headache later on. May be worth considering. Good luck and make sure you have the right tools for the job (see this link here), it will make the job so much easier! Edit: The OEM transmission mounts on these cars tend to age very well and rarely need to be replaced. The S65 OEM motor mounts are a different story. |
