My F80 ZCP MY17 is available for delivery, but I'm on vacation until Wednesday. Will get it 4th of August.

Anyone who have done ED or have received their car? (Aware of the delivery stop but someone else should have taken delivery since mine is available, I can't be the only one)

I've read that SOII doesn't look any different from SO. It was just a name change because of some type of manufacturing change or something like that.

That's what I've heard as well, though it would be nice to know firsthand if there are any differences.

I believe adaptive suspension is now standard. Someone correct me if I'm wrong here.

Adaptive suspension is standard and has the new Idrive. I just ordered a 17 MG/DCT with cloth/leather combo. Gave up my M2 slot three weeks ago and went for it! I'm also getting the kidney grill outer rings in black chrome, adding pedal covers and m4 style spoiler. I live thirty miles from Greenville and planning the PDC delivery...

I picked up my car on July 26th. European Delivery. It's. MY2017 M4. The car was fixed and cleared from the diff issue the night before I picked it up which worked out very well.

Observations... The new Sakhir Orange II paint looks the same. Will probably need it side by side with the older paint to tell.

Exhaust note seems deeper, the active sound is way less intrusive and won't need to be disabled.

The new 5 idrive is very fast. No lagging.

I did just over 2000km on my trip. The car is getting dropped off this morning. I unfortunately will not be home for another 2 weeks. A which point I will upload some pics and a complete ED review.

Car has 2098km on the clock. Service was due at 2000km. I just dropped it off at login/out.

The break-in service will be done at my home dealership before I take re-delivery. I didn't bother doing it in Germany.

I think the 5.0 includes a touch screen as well.

As for what is now lost in the MY17 is the 4th yr no-cost, so now you'll need to pay for the rotors and pad servicing, not sure if it's different in Canada, but that's the downside all models across the board bound for the US

No touchscreen on these cars. Its on the 7 series and X5/X6 if i recall correctly but didn't make its way to the 3 series based vehicles..

So it is ok to have 100-200km on top of service line for break-in service?

I contacted IND regarding painted reflectors for SO II, and they said the color is the same. Hopefully they know what they're talking about.

My SO M4 is due next month. Painted reflectors will be my first mod.

Went by the dealer earlier today just to see her, pick up tomorrow but spent an hour just looking and feeling. Idrive 5.0 is really nice but will take some time getting used to.

M3 Champagne Quartz.
