Cars and Coffee Orange County

Any members ever get to the Cars and Coffee in South OC (Aliso Viejo)? It's grown quite a bit and is becoming a regular thing for me, I saw some E92s out there, would be good to chat sometime! Plenty of eye-candy for every automotive taste, F40 and 959 have been some highlights the past couple weeks.

I'll post up pics if I can figure out how to size them for the forum.

I used to go before when they had it at the old location by Irvine spectrum.

I stopped going after they got picky about only allowing 2 door cars or older cars. My V8 4 door would keep getting turned away to the spectator lot.

Is it still like that?

Nah as of now its first come first serve. Plenty of stock-ish E90 and 92 M3's including my own. It seems to have the draw of the Irvine show without the pretentiousness. There's also one at the OC Fairgrounds but they're way more discriminating. IMHO cars and coffee are "run what you brung" casual events. I love a super clean 80's 5-series just as much as a 918 or other million dollar exotic.

yea, i hated that anything with four doors got turned away, but some pos amateur drift car would get in.

the one in alisso is very casual. no event staff... just people showing up. it has been getting pretty big. someone takes pics for their facebook page and posts them saturday afternoon, so even if i don't get to go, i still get to feel like i went.

Nice variety of cars. Super casual.

Planning on being there this upcoming Saturday the 13th if my flight isn't delayed. I'll bring the i8.

I went last week, have a Jerez black E92 M3. I will be there this saturday also! Its the "Loud" M3 haha

I ended up going this morning for a short time. Saw my first Bmw, a 2004 325ci. She has come a long way and looks a bit neglected.

I was all set to go this weekend, but M3 is at the dealer (again) for ticking sound and now the trans overheat light has been coming on

. I have a feeling I'll be rolling the 328 loaner for a while.

I was there this past weekend, but got there a bit late. Trying to get my 13 month old boy ready is always a challenge. The good news is my exhaust setup always seems to help "wake him up".

I saw "PandaM3". I will probably go again next weekend but try to get there a little earlier. If you guy's see a Space Grey E92 with red StopTech's - that's me.

Went in the girlfriend's 335d and parked way in the back because we brought the woofie. Dog did really good and loved it. It was a great turnout as well.
