Does the M4 have a CD changer ?

Does our cars have CD/DVD changers , was checking the 3 series owners manual and it has. the owners manual for M3 does not have anything related to electronics like Nav, CD etc

There is a separate manual for nav, etc. - not in the owners manual.

Where is that? I have a soft copy for 3 series covering nav and electronics

There should be a separate book called "Navigation, Entertainment, Communication. Owner's Manual" which should be included in the faux leather folder also containing the Owner's Manual located in the glove box.

I tried to look for a pdf version online but to no avail. I don't know why BMW does not just post it online with the other Owner's Manuals...

Anyway, if you are missing it, ask your BMW dealer for a copy.
I think that the M3/4 has a single disc CD/DVD drive. I don't know positively because I have never played a CD in the car before. I have a 64GB USB 3 stick plugged in the armrest with 63GB of FLAC music files that I listen to.

I remember having 8 track players installed in cars, that really dates me...

Does the Harmon/Kardon sound system have a CD changer or is it a single CD?

I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere but it seems silly not to have a CD changer at this day and age especially in a 80K plus car

I am yet to receive my M4 so excuse this n00b question

Not that I'm aware of. Though CD's are kind of obsolete in my opinion now days. Why not just use the USB connection? Spotify can be used through the idrive as well.

It seems silly to have a cd changer in 2016. My M5 is a 2014 and there is one in the glove compartment and when I found it I actually laughed. Then I put my 32 gb usd thumb drive in my car with all of my music and also use BT for Spotify.

Doesn't have a changer, but does have a hard drive. I have uploaded at least 30 CDs onto the hard drive.

Also a great option. The cd changer just seems so constraining given the newer options for music storage.

You get 20gb hard drive space and a usb port, where you can stick more storage.

There is a hard drive and a USB port.
I uploaded all of my CDs to iTunes and then copied them to a thumb drive that I inserted into the port on my M4 and copied the songs to the built in hard drive. The drive holds thousands of songs and the iDrive screen will display the song title and the album artwork.
