Buying advice...

Guys, sold out X5 diesel a year ago and now we are missing the long time between trips to the gas station and....most of all, driving a BMW. We are trying to decide between an X3 28d (in stock at dealer), a 535d M sports xdrive, and a X5 35i (in stock), and all of them 2016, and highly discounted. We really wanted an X5d, but the dealer doesn't have any allocations until feb '17, and that's about the date we are planning on moving, to an area with no BMW dealer near by. I have 3 kids (3, 6, and 10), so I'm not sure if the X3/535d is too small, or if we be happy with the X5 35i with a third row. Also, it's southern Spain, so I got to keep an eye on the size of my car not getting too big for the smaller roads...

Any thoughts on anyone with kids that have gone between those vehicles?
Thanks!

Fuel is relatively cheap in Spain vs the rest of Europe, still the 535d looks the best choice.

Plenty of BMW dealers/service down there, unless you go really "deep" into Extremadura.

Roads are usually good enough and I never had a problem anywhere with my X5.

Careful with speed limits being strictly enforced, more so on secondary roads due to a recent increase in their accident rate.

Thanks for the info!
We are leaning towards the X5, but we are just afraid for the petrol prices. I does seem cheaper compared to DE, where 95 is 1,59. The third row is a huge plus on the X5 and the discount is almost too good to pass. They car is listed for 54.900 and is 2016, leather, third row, premium package, drivers assist, gray, 20" wheels, comfort seats, xline. The MSRP Is about 66k...we could order a 2017 Diesel, but we are saving about 11k...I'm not sure if I can pass on it.

Excellent choice. And with three kids, the others vehicles would have been rather cramped. Let's see some more pics.

Absolutely beautiful. Enjoy!

Having just come off of a year where I traded my 535 for an X4... and then a quick flip to an X5, I can state that you made the wise decision.

The drive of the X5 is the best of the bunch... as luxurious as the 5's used to be 15 years ago.

Congrats.

Congrats.
I'm still debating between an X3 diesel or a 535d...big difference in price, but the 535 seems so comfortable and more refined than the X3 diesel

Love the wheels and Color combo. We just went for a road trip with the roof box on got over 650km on about 3/4 tank of gas on a 35i. It will get good enough mileage
