F85 LED Turning-Signal

Hi from Germany,

unpatiently waiting for my F85 to be picked up January 11th in Munich I wonder, if there is any way to Exchange the turning-signal in the taillight from yellow into the red one US-Cars are using?

Do you know if this is possible and if so, what and and where to buy?

Hi,

only way to change it is to buy US-Lights (uses other glass etc.). Not allowed in Germany because this parts don't have EC-Symbol.

May get problems with TÜV, you could loose your insurance if an accident happens and our green/blue guys don't like it too

just noticed you are located in Germany as well :-)
Are you sure that I would have to Change complete glass? Isn´t that only a different Color in LED? Maybe I´m to naiv...
In that case cost may exceed my Motivation ;-)

I've compared part no.

EU:
63 21 7 290 103 left corner
63 21 7 290 104 right corner

63 21 7 329 045 left middle
63 21 7 329 046 right midle

USA:
63 21 7 290 099 left corner
63 21 7 470 885 right corner

63 21 7 470 887 left middle
63 21 7 470 888 right middle

seems that glass is darker.

But try to call G-Power. I saw that they have a F85 which has dark headlights (in last video) but in this video they're going without downpipes which isn't allowed in Germany. Maybe it was an USA car
