Possible to order ZCP without the Seats?
Can one order ZCP package but opt to keep the regular seats (want to keep lumbar support, don't like the holes in the seatbacks).
Possible, yes, no? |

ZCP has lumbar support - it is just not adjustable.

That's not entirely accurate. First, find the option code for the standard seats, then have the CA reach out to the regional rep to determine if it can be done and the cost associated with it. It could be done as a one-off, or possibly through the Individual program.... there will likely be an increased charge though.
update -- looks like they call out option 488 (lumbar support) on the order guide. I'd start with that. Good luck! Cheers,

After 18 months in a non comp pack M3 i would always get numb bum and lower back pain on any journey over an hour or so...
Did the same journey yesterday in my competition seats and no pains or numbness at all, literally none! I am so suprised as I was also dreading losing lumbar support. The comp seats are fantastic! |

Having driven both (my friend has non ZCP), both of us prefer the ZCP seats hand down. Yeah, the cutouts are weird, but that aside, the support in the ZCP seats is much better.

Plus, I really couldn't tell a difference between the ZCP and non on the street (except for exhaust sound). And I drive aggressively (more than I should! : ) - Been to 4 M Schools so far

It's funny how different people have different experiences with these seats. I originally sat in standard seats back in 2015 and loved them. When I went back a few months ago and was able to sit the in zcp seats I loved them. We couldn't drive that particular car but we got to drive an M4 with standard seats and they were terrible compared to the zcp. Even my wife noticed the difference as soon as she sat in the passenger seat. She also prefers zcp. I'm 6' 3" with a bad back and the zcp provides excellent comfort and support for me.
