Evolve R Software Update

I need to update my Evolve R software and noticed that the thread with the link to the update is locked. What gives?

I've got stage 2 Evolve tune also and the Evolve R cable...can I ask why the update? Is it just a program update or a software update for the car?

Thanks. I tried downloading the file from Evolve's website but couldn't open the file. I was hoping to read their thread to see if I'm missing something (other than brain cells appearently).

I also run Evolve Stage II tune as well and as far as I know their program has an expiration date which you have to update the program like every six months please correct me if Im wrong.

Correct, the software has updates contently. If you have any issues with the program please let me know and I will get you a the software directly.

Anyone have instructions on the update?
It's been years since I've done it and I now need to flash back to stock for smog.

You may want to check with Evolve, but I just deleted to old version of the Evolve-R software from my laptop and downloaded the new version. Just did it again last week since I wanted to check for codes, and it worked flawlessly. I understand that the software update does not delete/change the tune... It just allows the Evolve-R to communicate with the car after the old software expires.

I went to evolvetuing.us and downloaded the zip file under EvolveR but not sure what I am supposed to install?

I see the Evolve installation Manual
i_FLash_BMW_Installation
Read Me and WIndows 8 Driver Install

Is it done through the I-Flash now? I have that from before but I deleted the Evolve app from 2017.

Also, how do I flash back to stock?
