Did the 2017 X6M receive a power upgrade?

My friend talked to a tuner and he told him that the 2017MY X6M has an upgraded turbos and injectors over the 2016 X6M. Also he said that he tested his 2017 X6M with another 2016 X6M and that his car is much faster.

Did anyone hear anything regarding this? Is it even possible for BMW to do a stealth upgrade ?

Nope.

All X6M engines use the same Turbos from Jan 2014 through April 2017 (the latest data I have)
