Ordered 2018 M3 yesterday and in production today
Holy crap!!!!

Ordered my M3 yesterday and dealer already emailed me saying it was put into production today and provided VIN number!!!!

I am assuming it has to do with the fact that I did not get anything crazy on it.

Silverstone, DCT, Extended leather.

Anyone else had that quick of a turn around????

It all depends on the allocation. Maybe they had an early allocation (week 35 probably) and were able to put in your order quickly. Some people have same day turnaround others it takes some time.

I picked up an allocation from my dealer on the 17th, and it went 112 as soon as I claimed it with my options. It went 150 the next day and will be completed on September 6th.

I need to call for the VIN.

I found out on my own through the 1-800 number.
