Tire insurance with after market wheels
Say I wanted to get the extended tire insurance from the dealership and want to also get aftermarket rims? Will putting on the oem tires on another rim void the warranty?

I'm also thinking of getting tire insurance.. I was told that it will cover even an after market rims, the problem might be that they may not pay for the real value of the rim...this is something I willclarify with my ca when i get my car......

Spoke to my CA today, and he said that the insurance will also cover the aftermarket rim to a certain cost.

I didn't get the insurance but my dealership used GE Money for the warranty, I thought it was a hassle thats why i didn't get it, because first you have to pay the full amount then file a claim.
Depending on the program they either reimburse you $400, $700 or $1200. I'm not sure if this is the same for all dealerships, so you should definately ask in all details about the program.

Just an FYI. This was discussed in another thread a couple days ago. Someone had this exact scenario happen to them and they denied the claim. I'm too lazy to search for the thread right now. If you're worried you can search for the thread and PM the poster who had his claim denied. Good luck.
I also agree it's a waste of money. I did not get it when I bought my car last week.
