2015 X5M f85 clunk over bump while turning low speed fixed

so i had a clunk over bump while turning right at low speed over a lip or curb to parking lot.

dealer took it out, heard it.
hooked up chassis ears to diagnose, suggested strut to be replaced.

got a knocking off the front left strut, needs new strut etc. parts is like 1400.00 bucks under warranty. anyways on order from germany or something like that.

just a post in case anyone has this kind of dunking or clunking noise. car has 40k (km) on it.

ok so the strut was replaced and some other parts, clunk still there, took car back but dealer opened a puma case with bmw canada. goes back nov 27th so will update once i know what the fix is.

What part of Canada are you located in? Ive heard a similar clunk noise on my x6m on high bumps but not the longer flat ones. Wondering if your in Toronto maybe i can go to the same dealer once yours is fixed to have mine diagnosed and see if its the same thing by your service advisor.

ottawa. was happening in the summer and now in the colder weather. that clunk on the front left is NOT normal. they couldn't hear it till they put chassis ears on it.

basically as i am turning really slow to the right, like say into a tim hortons parking lot, the first lip on the curb you go over it, and as it's bounding back to adjust the lateral motion or the vertical rise and fall of the shock, you hear a clunk.
