adjustable seat width?
my sports seats are a little tight for me, i think my back is wider than the average person, so the sides are kind of tight, are they adjustable? i couldn't find anything on the seat to adjust it.

The M seats do not adjust that way. They adjust every other way but I think you are out of luck on that one.

I think they do on the other M cars, cause I saw adjustable seat width as an option on the new M3.
maybe I'm sitting in it wrong, I'll keep adjusting. or maybe its because they are still new. haha, no way I'm trading. |

Well, its honestly a weight issue. The first time I went looking at the M's I noticed it was a bit tight in the seat. So I decided to drop 10lbs before picking it up. Worked like a charm

you're not the only one...
I know the feeling, I'm a mountain biker and my thighs are pretty large and it's a tight fit between the seat bolsters. My upper back just barely fits. I was thinking about taking the seat apart and either bend or cut and re-weld the framework for the bolsters a little. I thought I'd get used to it, but I'm not. I probably should not have went with the M seats, but that's what was the car came with. I'm sure the seat back bolsters could be modified to be a little wider. anyone have a good picture of the seat framework?
