Unicorn Found? X5 xdrive 50i Msport with Active Suspension
I'm in the market for a used X5 50i with Msport package and I'm super excited to have came across one with Active M Suspension.
Out the door i'm just over $43,000. Year: 2014 Mile: 39,000 CPO until 4/20 Key Packages: P337A M Sports package S2VFA Adaptive M suspension S2VPA Adaptive suspension package 'Dynamic' S402A Electric panoramic roof S6F2A Bang&Olufsen High End Surround Sound S6UKA Night Vision with human recognition S710A M leather steering wheel S715A M Aerodynamics package Only option that I'm really missing from a desire standpoint is the vented seats which I can live within even though I'm in Texas. What do you guys think of the deal? I can easily find something cheaper with all of the above, but no active suspension. (Just trying to justify if spending the extra $$ is worth it. So far, I believe it it, but haven't driven it other than in a test drive.) Thanks in advance. Last edited by geedup35; 08-02-2018 at 06:49 PM.. Reason: Vin Decoder Attached |

OP I guess you did found unicorn. What year and color? Starting from 2015 BMW changed gear ratios in ZF8 transmission and you get 0.1-0.2s faster 0-60 if that matters to you.
P.S. The only downside is that in case of leak/failure you'll have to deal with expensive repairs (DHP isn't cheap to fix I would imagine). I would still jump on this offer anyway. |

OP. May want to check the VIN decoder. According to 2014 price guide..ZDH is DHP.
ZDH Dynamic Handling Package 2VM Dynamic Damper Control + rear axle air suspension 2VP Dynamic Performance Control + Active Role Stabilization ZDH will delete ZSU when ordered with ZMM In combination with 4UB In my 2017 it was listed as ZDH as well. I think this has DHP. Go drive it.

When I was shopping around, I could only find a 50i with dhp but non-msport. After a long talking night with my girlfriend, we decided to go for the look. And we took one with msport and Nappa leather package, but only m adaptive.
Right now, hearing you guys talking about how great the dhp are, I kind of regret of my choice. So take it. It’s a great deal. |

Although I'll enjoy the M much better, this was a nice trade-off since this in the family vehicle. |

Good deal. And yes the ventilated sears are a waste of holes in the leather. The Napa seats look much better without all the holes.
You will not regret the DHP. Just remember. You'll need to truly drive it occasionally to take advantage. Enjoy the on ramps!!!!!

I didn’t click the decoder link...but does this new car you are getting have Active cruise w/stop and go?
I have the DHP w/ active M suspension and torque vectoring rear differential....I swear this truck handles just as good as my Dinan lowered E39 M5. |

In Houston, most of my enjoyment will be with the On ramps. Quote:
Also thinking about doing the muffler delete so I'll likely be on that throttle often. |
