Want to get an F8x before they are all gone

I would love to own a F8x model, but the M3 goes out of production in just a couple months and the M4 goes out of production by middle of 2020 (end of 2020 for the convertible).

Around what time frame should I put my down payment and get into the end of the production cycle?

M4 has two more years. The M3 is already pretty much out of production, all you have left is what's coming to dealer lots.
